In 1904 the National Geographic Magazine publicized the bridges, and in 1908 President Theodore Roosevelt established Natural Bridges National Monument, creating Utah’s first National Park System area. Natural Bridges is currently offering outdoor visitor services Thursday through Monday from 9:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-4:00pm at the visitor center.
