Luminously Luxe Got a set of 3 Fender Noiseless pickups in my Malmsteen strat and they are smooth as silk when a slow blues starts to burn, and have plenty of a well-defined bite when the volume goes up. Our Strat measures 20.7mm at the 1st fret and 22.2mm at the 12th; our Tele is virtually identical at 20.9mm and 22mm, which would indicate that little has changed, perhaps just a slightly fuller shoulder in lower positions. I also own a 1996 Strat Plus with Lace Sensor pickups, a 2002 American Deluxe Stratocaster with Vintage Noiseless pickups and a 2004 American Deluxe Ash Strat with Samarium Cobalt noiseless pickups. I know some feel that they're not true Tele-sounding, but I wouldn't know so I'm not complaining! The neck profile is the same across the series, Modern D.
